A Roku PIN (personal identification number) is a four-digit code that can be created via your Roku account to help manage payments, subscriptions, and services. Once a PIN has been created, it must be used to authorize any transaction. A message asking for a Roku PIN typically appears when downloading an app or streaming channel.
The easy-to-follow steps below describe how to reset Roku PIN. There is no default Roku PIN: you must specify your PIN for your Roku account once you have reset your PIN.
**NOTE: Performing a factory reset will remove all settings, network connections, and Roku data along with your menu preferences. Once completed you can repeat the guided setup and reconnect to the Internet, re-linking to the Roku account.
