Most resets on Miele dishwashers can be done by simply unplugging the washer for 5 or 10 seconds. This does not clear faults: it simply resets the CPU. If this does not remedy the situation you may need to follow these steps to reset your Miele dishwasher.
Perform the following steps in order-
To reset a Miele Dishwasher-
Total Time: 5 minutes

Turn on at On/Off button.

Press and hold the Start/Stop button until the red light blinks.

Press the On/Off button to Off, then back On.
The Miele Dishwasher is now reset and should operate normally.
