How to reset the Kenwood TS-990S

The TS-990S comes equipped with dual receivers for simultaneous reception on different bands, it also features narrow-band roofing filters on the main receiver in a full down-conversion configuration. The TS-990S achieves the highest basic reception performance of any radio in the TS series, through the careful selection of circuits, and components, and accelerating analysis using a triple DSP configuration.

You may wish to perform a factory reset to your Kenwood TS 990 ham radio to clear out any settings you have modified. You can reset all configuration data in the transceiver to their defaults following these steps.
