All current VIZIO tv models are smart and come with the SmartCast OS platform.
Performing the following reset will return your Vizio TV back to factory default settings. This is recommended as the last option to solve issues such as slow response, audio-video distortion, connectivity problems, or malware.
This is typically done when there is a problem that can only be fixed with a reset or if you want to sell your TV. Steps are provided below to walk you through this process.
Perform the following steps in order-
To reset Vizio TV without the remote–
Total Time: 2 minutes

Turn on your Vizio TV. Press and hold the “Volume Down” and “Input” buttons at the same time.
Release the buttons when your TV screen displays a dialogue box.

When the TV screen says, “Reset to default”, hold the ‘Input’ button for 10 seconds.
A message will display, “Memory is being cleared”. Wait for the reset process to complete.
The TV will reboot after this.
